About the event
Being a performer is a lot more than learning some dance moves and putting on a pretty costume! There are a lot of background skills that can make your life easier as a performer and remove the stress and uncertainty from show prep. Having these skills can also help you gain a reputation as a reliable and self-sufficient dancer with whom show producers love to work!
In this short lecture and demonstration, Rahil will go through the process of downloading and accessing purchased music from iTunes and Amazon. She'll also demonstrate the use of Audacity, a free music editing software, that is easy to use and can give you a lot of freedom as a performer.
This lecture is FREE, but you must register in order to get the Zoom link. If you cannot attend live but want to receive a recording, register as usual. All participants will receive the recording. Please note, the ONLY platforms that will be discussed in this lecture are iTunes, Amazon music, and Audacity. That is all that Rahil uses and all she can demonstrate!
